In my one night stay at Wellcome Hotel, i think I chose the deluxe room at the price of Php. 2,200.00

We chose a room that is on the same floor with the swimming pool. That’s room 308.

Choose room on the 3rd floor if you want direct access to the swimming pool.

I haven’t took any photo on their swimming pool, but it was a nice view.

Swimming Pool is only 4 feet..

 

Also, last time i checked, the breakfast was buffet..

I like this hotel because everything was new when i was there. and also it was clean.

however, i don’t find it affordable.

But i would suggest it to everyone.

I made an online reservation for a double room (standard price is Php. 1,500.00) , and lucky to have a discount. It only cost Php 1,090.00.

Like any other hotel, basic amenities are present. Free Wi-fi,  Hotel and Cold shower , LCD cable TV, etc etc etc.

Pros:

• Slightly cheap.
• Clean (it’s still a new hotel when i checked in there)
• Comfortable bed
• Near to Hospital (Chong Hua Hospital)
• Near to Mall (Robinson’s Cybergate)

Cons

• I think the airconditioning unit is not enough to cool the room, however, it’s not also warm.
• They don’t serve breakfast, dinner, lunch, however there is a mini bar on the ground floor and there’s a ngohiong express.

 

If what you need in a hotel is just the comfort of sleeping and rest, i recommend this hotel.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Camotes

How to get there:

If you are from Cebu City, from SM City Cebu, you ride V-hire to Danao City. Fare is Php. 50.00 each.
or you can ride jeepney to Danao.

It is an hour travel and you will have your stop at Gaisano Danao.

From there, you can ride a pedicab to Danao Port for a price of Php.8.00 – Php. 10.00 each.

At Danao Port, buy your ticket there to Consuelo Wharf at the price of Php 180.00 (ordinary) or Php 200.00 (aircon) and an additional Php 5.00 for terminal fee.

It’s a two (2) hours to 2 hours and 30 minutes travel to Consuelo wharf, so better have your meal before boarding in.

At last, after 2 hours and minutes of travel, we set our foot at Consuelo wharf camotes.

We were fetch by this multicab from Consuelo Wharf to the resort we were staying at the price of Php 50.00 per head.

You can choose where to stay, either in Mangodlong or Santiago.

In Mangodlong, there’s Mangodlong Rock Resort and Mangodlong Paradise Beach Resort to name a few. Mangodlong Paradise Beach Resort is a bit expensive.

Since that time Santiago Bay Garden & Resort is fully booked, i looked for a resort near to it. So I found BellavistaMare Beach Resort.

Php 1,350.00 for airconditioned room
Php 850.00 for fan room.

BellaVistaMare Beach Resort i guess has only  2 Airconditioned Room, 2 Fan Room and 1 Family Room since the other one is i think they are occupying it.

But I would  rather stay here if Santiago Bay Garden is fully booked than other resort. 🙂

Travel tips : 
• It’s best to go to Camotes during good weather. It’s a 2 hours sea travel and waves could get pretty huge if wind is strong.

 I wanted to have a family room for their Queen size bed but unfortunately no other room available. So we got a double room since it is their only room available.

For the price of Php 989.00, WITHOUT BREAKFAST, I thought it was a nice deal due to its location that it is near Jollibee on the boulevard.

I somehow imagine it is a big LCD TV. but still it’s OK!

I think they offer room service for foods. However their clear book which has their menu have lots of brochures from fast foods that offers delivery. Of course, some have delivery charge.

The hotel is small, so you will be having a hard time for reservation.

And last time I checked, if you want to make a reservation, you need to be there to pay in advance.

Has free wi-fi.

You won’t be having a hard time looking for foods, all thanks to their clear book that has lots of brochures inside.

NO FREE BREAKFAST! but offers room service.

NO MINI BAR/ MINI REFRIGERATOR

but still, for affordable hotels, i would recommend this one. 🙂

The hotel is kinda old, has a small elevator, and still using that normal key to open the door.

– The boneless bangus has bones in it.

– I’ve waited 20-30 minutes for a room service for my breakfast. And he promised to follow the iced tea, but the iced tea never came, lucky me, i bought a bottle of coke and water before checking in there.

-They do serve delicious foods.

If your looking for affordable hotel to stay in Cebu City, I would recommend this hotel.

This is a new hotel in cebu city that’s why it’s slightly expensive for its accommodation and services.

No refrigerator for the deluxe room. No view from the outside.

And the thing i hate the most is that, I ordered a breakfast to be delivered in my room, and it took them more than 40 minutes to deliver my food.

I would not recommend this hotel if there are other hotel available with the same price.

What I like most of this room is that they have a living room area with a LCD cable TV.

A sofa bed in a living room area, but some stains are visible in the sofa bed. I wonder what those stain are. 🙂

In my stay in this hotel, I’ve observe that the water in the Comfort Room is like a rainwater. Soap are not totally removed in your body just like the effect when you take a bath in the rain.

I would like to recommend this hotel to all.

Room is clean, luxurious, elegant

Good service

Great Foods.

really love this promo.

Though they charge free for parking fee for guests, I really don’t like their parking area.

It is not spacious. Space allowance between cars, perpendicular parking, is not spacious. Fully opening the door would hit the vehicle beside it.

They have parking area in the basement, i guess up to 4 levels. (not sure, construction is going on)

When you park in the Club Ultima tower, especially up to the 3rd floor, the curve ramp is not so good.. I think it would be difficult if there will be vehicle moving downward and another vehicle moving upward meeting on the inclined curve..

but other than that, i guess it is really deal. Your experience is worth every penny you spend.

Dont forget to ask for parking clearance on the receptionist for free parking. 🙂
